Here Comes Mrs. Wishy-Washy and Down on the Farm

It is my most favorite time of the year...we started our farm unit! I am head over heels for Mrs. Wishy-Washy! I think that Joy Cowley is brilliant. We have had a great time reading Mrs. Wishy-Washy and some other great titles such as:

  5. Sarah, have you heard of Dr. Jean's songs "Old Macdonald" and "Farmer in the Dell" (both from the CD "Nursery Rhymes")? I agree with you that she's fabulously awesome! Because I'm a blind teacher, she even came over to me and showed me how to do some of the cheers. She is really just a lovely person! Do you have any visually impaired students in your classroom? I might have some free guided reading books that I can share with you if you need some for your farm unit. I have so many that I've made on the computer over the years - over a thousand!
